Having blogged for two years about the Covid issue I was delighted when the Hallett Inquiry was established “…set up to examine the UK’s response to and impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and learn lessons for the future”.
I’m inspired by your diligence in following this up. I too made a number of submissions to the Scottish inquiry, one of them through the legal team representing the Scottish Care Home Relatives group but have heard a cheep - I expect because, like you, I’ve been openly critical of government interventions. I’ve found the witness statements at both inquires hugely frustrating because most of the harm and distress was unnecessary and could have been avoided if people like us hadn’t been silenced and censored.

The inquiry was always going to be a whitewash.
